Die Krag van 'n Nuwe Begin

In die gejaag van die lewe is dit maklik om uitgeput of oorweldig te voel. Ons dra dikwels pakke wat nie vir ons gemaak is nie en probeer paaie stap sonder 'n duidelike kaart. Maar vandag word ons herinner dat daar 'n beter manier is.

Die Belofte

In Matteus 11:28 nooi Jesus ons uit: “Kom na My toe, almal wat uitgeput en oorlaai is, en Ek sal julle rus gee.” Hierdie rus is nie net vir die liggaam nie, maar vir die siel. Dit is die wete dat jy nie alles alleen hoef uit te figure nie.

Die Keuse

Soos Josua van ouds gesê het: “...maar ek en my huis, ons sal die Here dien” (Josua 24:15). Dit is 'n daaglikse besluit om God die middelpunt van jou besigheid, jou huis en jou planne te maak. Wanneer ons Hom eerste stel, belowe Spreuke 3:6 dat Hy ons paaie gelyk sal maak.

Nuwe Krag

As jy vandag voel asof jou tenk leeg is, onthou die woorde in Jesaja 40:31: “...dié wat op die Here vertrou, kry nuwe krag. Hulle vlieg met arendsvlerke...” Jy is nie gemaak om net te oorleef nie; jy is gemaak om bo jou omstandighede uit te styg.

Gedagte vir die dag: Moenie vandag op jou eie insig staatmaak nie. Gee jou laste vir die Here, vertrou op Sy tydsberekening, en kyk hoe Hy deure oopmaak wat niemand kan toemaak nie.

The Power of a New Beginning

In the rush of life, it is easy to feel exhausted or overwhelmed. We often carry burdens that were not made for us and try to walk paths without a clear map. But today, we are reminded that there is a better way.

The Promise

In Matthew 11:28, Jesus invites us: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." This rest is not just for the body, but for the soul. It is the knowledge that you do not have to figure everything out on your own.

The Choice

As Joshua said of old: "...but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15). This is a daily decision to make God the center of your business, your home, and your plans. When we put Him first, Proverbs 3:6 promises that He will make our paths straight.

New Strength

If you feel today as though your tank is empty, remember the words in Isaiah 40:31: "...those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles..." You were not made to just survive; you were made to rise above your circumstances.

Thought for the day: Do not rely on your own understanding today. Give your burdens to the Lord, trust in His timing, and watch how He opens doors that no one can shut.
